The Oasthouse, the only alternative social club in Rainham.

The Oasthouse has been open for fellow metal heads since 1996 and still offers young and musically enthusiastic people, somewhere to go the express their love for music and meet some new like minded people.

There is a full bar on the main floor, which is sometimes shared with the other groups which the Oasthouse holds. With a wide range of alcohol and soft drinks, which are very cheap may i add, with a selection of snacks if you get a bit peckish.

A pool table is also available in the bar area, one of the few remaining 50p per play tables in exsistance as far as we can see, so if you are feeling competitive we have a few regulars that might well give you some competition if your upto it.

Live band nights are held here twice a month, with all your favorite local bands such as- Neon Halo, Shadow Moses and Your Broken Ego, To name a few... When the bands are playing, the top floor is opened for the bands to play and for you to enjoy.

There are also theme nights that are just for fun, where you can come fancy dress, play games and win prizes, we've already had theme nights that have been a great success like- Gangsta Pimp and Hoe, Mexican, Halloween and Christmas. These are great fun and anyone can suggest themes for future events just drop us an email with your ideas.
